We were plugging away a website page revision, and questioned the use of "towards" versus "toward."
Upon reviewing the convention on the use of one or the other, they are, basically, interchangeable.
The former is somewhat more common in the UK, the latter in the US. But otherwise, they are equally correct!
We were honored this week to be able to proof and edit some material for the new 'ultralounge,' envi. The charming and thoroughly wonderful-to-know Doug Nicholson, the proprietor, had this to say:

See the recommendation on LinkedIn, here.
Bonus 1: envi received a nice write-up from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ~ check it out.
Bonus 2: Racinders will already know Doug's Ivanhoe Pub, but few in Milwaukee are familiar with it. You should be. Plan a day to come down and stroll along the lakefront, stop in at a couple of the galleries, and enjoy a pub burger at the Ivanhoe (have the sweet potato fries alongside!) You won't be sorry.
We see this one all the time -- some instances may be the result of a typo that, of course, will never register on the spell check, since both are actual words.
However, if you're not sure which is which:
Loose = the opposite of tight
Lose = the opposite of win or find
