8/17/2011 0 Comments Writing Tip: Towards v. TowardWe were plugging away a website page revision, and questioned the use of "towards" versus "toward."
Upon reviewing the convention on the use of one or the other, they are, basically, interchangeable. The former is somewhat more common in the UK, the latter in the US. But otherwise, they are equally correct!

 We were honored this week to be able to proof and edit some material for the new 'ultralounge,' envi. The charming and thoroughly wonderful-to-know Doug Nicholson, the proprietor, had this to say:

LoseWe see this one all the time -- some instances may be the result of a typo that, of course, will never register on the spell check, since both are actual words.
However, if you're not sure which is which: Loose = the opposite of tight Lose = the opposite of win or find  Posted by a Write and Polish Facebook friend:
